What is a yubl?

A ‘yubl’ is a message that contains as much as you can fit into a square and it all starts with a blank ‘canvas’. This is where you compose a yubl by layering up all sorts of content however you like (you can send simple text-only messages as well).

Pick a background colour, select a photo or video from your library or snap and edit one on the fly. Add overlays, filters, text (in multiple fonts), graphics and stickers that reflect your own personal style. Include interactive Yubl ‘buttons’ to take a vote or show your location in relation to others.

These revolutionary new features activate across synchronous screens – everyone in the chat shares the same view together by seeing the individual activations happen simultaneously on their own device.


How it works

Yubl buttons are some of the most interactive elements you can add to your messages and posts. They let you do all sorts of stuff by dynamically linking your screen to everyone else’s in the conversation. Do things like:

Your Feed is where you broadcast and browse through yubls shared to the whole network, including your own friends, brands and celebrities. Only public posts by the people and things you choose to follow will appear here.

Explore is dedicated to delivering great content and finding brands, media creators and popular personalities to follow. This is where you stay up to date and see what’s new on Yubl.
